Design Process

Phase One

Free initial meeting with client begins the process. This is an evaluation time to establish the client’s needs/wants/challenges, priorities, budget and time considerations. A design fee is established and the general planning can begin. “Before” pictures are taken as a reference for future consideration. (1-2 hours)

Follow-up meeting discuss some specific conceptual planning & selections such as flooring, lighting, plumbing, color, textiles, etc. This time is used to gather measurements for bids and site plan information. (1-3 hours)

Phase Two

Design Plan Presentation Formal presentation of the design plan is presented which has sample building materials , floorplans, sketches, pictures, as well as other visual examples of items be used in the completion of the project. Your budget, timeline and preferences are all factored into the final presentation. (10-14 days after initial meeting)

Phase Three

Client approvals are obtained, purchasing, coordination of contractors, scheduling and installation are all underway. You are presented with a calendar of “happenings” so that you can follow along from a distance or “touch and feel” as progress moves along – the choice is yours. I will customize your design experience according to your preference and availability. (time frame can vary depending upon availability of materials)

Final Phase

Final reveal is an event. “After” photos are taken…is it indeed – the final reveal. All the hard work and creative planning comes to fruition. You are now enjoying your fabulous new space, creatively and especially designed with style, for you.
